Brain Transplantation - Be Young Again! Change Your Body - Keep Your Soul!

Just when I thought I'd seen it all..
I often tell students that the big ol' WWW is 99% garbage. Little did I know how right I was. This site
Brain Transplantation - Be Young Again! Change Your Body - Keep Your Soul! appears to actually be serious. For the astoundingly LOW, LOW price of $499,000, you can have your brain transplanted into a new, younger body. No, really! They even have examples of the various body types you can purchase. Never mind that every other word is a misspelling or equivalent to the most egregious misuse of the language from engrish.com. As the web page says "When you car too old to fix it, you are buying a new car." So why not a new body? Perhaps this is a natural outgrowth of the movement launched by Alcor, the cryonics company who can, for a small sum (of course), freeze your body , or for a smaller sum (AHEM), freeze your head when you die. To keep preserved for that future day when technology will allow said brain or head transplant to take place. Or not... Alcor even lays out the way you can scam life insurance policies into paying for your transformation to frozen food. Taken together, these two sites are most instructive. If you can't get your brain transferred in time, get it on ice, quick, kind of like what my brother did with his amputated finger. Unfortunately for my brother, the finger , though re-attached, became gangrenous and had to be removed. Could you do that with a brain if it becomes gangrenous? I'll have to think about that one...
UPDATE - 10/8/2010 - The brain transplant site has left the web.  Too bad, it was great fun.
